Telemental Health Services

Although some prefer counseling in the traditional brick and mortar setting, others prefer receiving services in the privacy of their own home or business using technology.  If one is comfortable with using technology, this can be another way to meet one’s mental health needs.  This can be especially beneficial for those in rural areas, those with physical disabilities, those with mobility issues, or those with limited time.

Telemental health services (using video or phone counseling) are available only to people who reside in Arkansas.   Although I provide traditional face to face counseling services for all ages, my telemental health services are only provided to adults and teenagers who have parental consent as well as an adult or guardian present for part if not all of each telemental health session. Many insurance companies will cover video based therapy.  If you are interested in receiving services for you or your child via technology, please contact me to discuss this potential service delivery method’s pros and cons.

* Note:  Once an initial client session is scheduled, potential clients receive an invite to a secure client portal where they can fill out all required forms and authorize disclosure of protected health information.

* Note:  I do not provide crisis or emergency services. If you are in a crisis and in immediate danger, call 911.  If you cannot call 911, proceed to the nearest hospital emergency room to ask for assistance.   Regardless of the type of crisis, the emergency staff will contact whichever branch of crisis intervention service is appropriate to get you the help you need.  If you cannot locate a hospital emergency room, proceed to the nearest fire station or police station, where the staff will provide help and connect you with the appropriate crisis intervention service you need.
